Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, popularly referred to in the media as Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American actor, singer impersonator comedian and radio personality known also as the daughter of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and the mother of comic Raul Vale. The singer is believed to have launched La Balada Ranchera, a music genre that reached the top of charts in 1973 and led Angelica Maria to become the first Latin artist to sell two million albums across the United States.
